Back Where It All Began

I have been playing drums, singing, and writing songs most of my life. I started taking formal drum lessons when I was 10 and picked up the guitar when I was 19. I have been performing live shows since I was 13. My biggest drumming influences include Stewart Copland, Gene Krupa, and Bill Kruetzman. My favorite singers and songwriters are John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon. I love songs with a deep pocket groove,  catchy lyrics, and some sweet harmonies! 

I spent over 30 years working as an elementary educator at Marbletown Elementary School specializing in teaching mathematics.  While at Marbletown my partner Robin Baker and I wrote, directed, and produced many original school musicals including: Charlie and the Chocolate School, It's Me Marbletown, and Marbletown Rocks.

I have two children Maggie and Sean, two step children Ryan and Molly, and a granddaughter Fiona. I have been with my wife Darlene for almost 20 years. We live in Stone Ridge, NY with our yellow lab Joey.
